I attempted cycling 100 miles from Liverpool to Chester with NO training πŸš΄β€β™‚οΈπŸ’€. Follow my first-ever long-distance ride as I hit the wall, deal with sore legs, and learn the hard way what it’s like to tackle a 100-mile endurance challenge as a beginner.

Perfect for anyone curious about LCL 100-mile rides, beginner cycling challenges, long-distance cycling tips, or what happens when a runner tries cycling.

  1. Excellent video, Mike. Cycling seemed a nice sedate way of keeping fit. I was thinking of dusting off my old Boardman. Not sure I’ll bother now! At least with running I feel I’m in control. Looks a good event though. Maybe next year? πŸ€”

  2. I was there, first time doing this event, 25mile to start (sensible πŸ˜‚), also not a cyclist , but I may do the 50m next year. Great event. Well done on finishing.
