Hi everyone! After a couple of OD triathlons, I've decided to move on from my road bike (an older triban 520 / Sora groupset) and get an actual Tri bike for competing. I'm just wondering if this Giant Trinity bike is worth it.
It's from a local 2nd-handbike shop (Singapore) which is quite reputable and I like the fact it comes with a year's warranty.
STATS: Shimano Ultegra Groupset / 2×11 speed / Rim Brake /Carbon Frameset / Aluminium wheels.
I believe it's the 2014 version.
It's going for SGD 1100, or about 858USD
Thank you guys!

Definitely not 2014 and definitely does not come with ultegra 2×11. That looks like a shimano 105 or ultegra 2×10 from like 2009. I’d date this bike between like 2009-2011. This isn’t a bad entry level budget tri-bike as there aren’t many proprietary headset parts since it looks like it’s running just a standard road bike 1 1/8th inch tapered steerer, but like with all tri-bikes, that is definitely a proprietary seatpost and being that this is this old, if that cracks, you’re in huge trouble trying to source one. If you do happen to find a used old stock one online, expect to pay like $300.
