I live here part of the year. Car museum is impressive. All the other stuff? Meh! Rather go into the Vosges Mountains, visit the picturesque villages, visit Colmar.

Mulhouse is a city ideally located in Alsace (a region of France) close to Basel in Switzerland, a city of culture. It is also 40 minutes from Freiburg in Germany, a city of fashion. It is 20 minutes from Colmar in France, a very touristy city known for its Alsatian culture.
The best months to visit are May, June, and December. May and June are spring months, when it is not too hot yet, and the Zoological and Botanical Gardens are in bloom. This is the best time to visit, as well as to take a trip along the wine route (Alsace is a wine-growing region). In December, there is the Christmas market, as well as in Colmar, Basel, and Freiburg, and the best of all, an hour's train ride from Strasbourg (the capital of Alsace).
