
I know I should lean back to pop the front wheel, and instead im mostly using the reaction force from the fork. I see that the form I assume is wrong, but I cannot instinctively comprehend how leaning back more would have the bike popping more… For context, I used to be able to wheelie pretty well (stuff like stopping with one wheel and restarting… more or less), now I can start a wheelie 3/4 times (most of the times i just lean too much on one side), and I can barely do a manual of half a meter. Go to a patch of grass, get used to going all the way back and looping out, once comfortable pulling the front wheel up you just bring the back end up to meet it
I would remove the front wheel and fork to reduce weight and make the jump easier
