The city is tearing down the government building and taking out the brick planters on all sides that were basically 3ft and 5ft quarters with a 6 inch vert lip. They were hard to ride since you could only hit them on the weekends and cops would always kick you out. The only time I ever saw them in a video part was years ago, Jay Miron aired the bigger quarter. Only one of the "legit" spots in the city. What dope spots does/did your small city or town have?

Bummer.
I remember a pair of stair sets in my home town at a school. The handrails weren’t so high and they got people to try stuff more than the easy things. I didn’t ride bmx on the street ever, but they got more than simple boardslides from me. Some people gapped them as I recall. They got torn down when the school was replaced.
There used to be a veterans memorial fountain also. It was basically a skatepark on accident. It got shutdown after 9/11. No idea what it’s like now as access to the military area it was in got restricted over time. It’s probably still there if I had to guess.
A lot of spots started getting patrolled in my town after the skatepark was built. Really killed the true street stuff.
