First Trip in our NEW Motorhome: Weston-Super-Mare, Somerset
After collecting our NEW Coachman Sportivo, we head to Somerset in the south west. We have booked a pitch at Diamond Farm Caravan Park in Brean. This is a large site, situated just under a miles walk from Brean Beach. The touring area has fully serviced hard standing pitches and there is a large camping area.
From the site you can ridge your bike, or walk, on cycle route 33 all the way to Weston-Super-Mare. This is an off road and traffic free route, including a section across the hard sand beach if you like. Route 33 goes the opposite direction, toward Burnham on Sea, and you can cycle that way instead. The cycle route passes through the campsite.
Next door is a fantastic cafe, Cafe 33, and there is a bike hire shop next door too.
The site is serviced by a bus stop outside the gate, number 20 bus takes you to Weston or Burnham.
We were lucky with great weather for the end of March and we had a good four night stay in our new Coachman Travel Master Sportivo Motorhome.

We stayed at Uphill Campsite 2019 December. The price has gone up a lot but it's a lovely site. The ice cream looked lovely. Glad you enjoyed the singer on the pier😂

We were at Bath Chew valley in February and went to Weston, totally agree with the guy singing at the entrance to the pier. Had the worst busker voice ever 😂😂. Happy travels both ❤

Why is everyone saying this is Weston-super-Mare and you even say its not it Brean which is its own place and not even in the same district? Sorry but Brean is so lovely and fun to be in and I don't feel the same about Weston-super-Mare now this is my opinion but respect that others have theirs I just think Brean should not be classed as Weston-super-Mare

Don’t fancy tar for hardstanding, still need to peg down the awning legs even on a calm day, have seen a few awnings flipped over the van , lots of damage
The Uphill Marina Campsite is lovely, as is the Boathouse cafe, very dog friendly. The walk up onto the hill above Uphill Marina to the church and the look out is fabulous. The beach walk from Uphill is also great. Your new Motorhome looks really lovely. Interesting to hear about the quality of the engine. 😊
Love the review, we have been staying at Diamond since 2005 and its grown year on year. We moved recently to start using Warren Farm, its right on the beach and close to a couple of pubs with great food. We also live ten minutes from somers wood. Cant wait to get in our new Laser 845 when it arrives in June 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 happy camping to you both 🙌🏼🙌🏼

WSM is my home town. Nice to see it through other people's eyes! It's a church at the top of the hill in Uphill.
Great video guys, and glad you are enjoying your new van. We had our own first visit to WsM the other week. Great to visit a traditional seaside resort. We were lucky and managed to get into Uphill Marina on a non electric pitch for £28, but the warden told us then that they were now starting to get booked up, as the busier season was starting. Will definitely visit again.
