Who knows what would have happened to my head if i wasn’t wearing a helmet. This is getting hung up as a war trophy.
Broke my helmet today at the dirt jumps, fell and hit my head off rocks and sand, cracked my helmet in two places.

Toss it and get a new one
Thank you for posting this. Vids/pics like yours really got it to click for me that all it takes is one wrong hit to the skull/brain for it to *stay* hit and it’s been helmet life since.
Throw it away and buy a better one. Pro tec still makes high quality stuff. (Yes I know it’s likely the same thing as other brands but with a different sticker to delineate manufacturers. Pro tec was good.
Working as intended. I rode most of my career in a flimsy skate protec helmet that had no regulation or safety standards. I’m lucky I still have a brain
