So great. Okinawa looks like a stunning place, reminds me a lot of Hawaii! The laid back vibe looks very relaxing, I can understand why people flock there for vacations! Did I note that it leans toward a bit of an American flavor, since it was a major US military location for years? LOVED the music too, the Brazilian(?) jazz is the perfect touch!

Those coffee houses at the end reminded me of Okinawa when I was there from 1970 -72. Restaurants had the same vibe back in those days. Loved that island and it's people.

Oh wow, what another gem of an upload! I love Okinawa, it's a fantastic place to explore. I can only imagine how thrillingly foreign and wonderful Okinawa would seem to all Japanese nationals holidaying there for the first time if they were from the far north and had never ventured far away from their hometown in Hokkaido. I love the existence of strong regional differences in all countries but there's a special thrill in exploring one's OWN homeland and finding magical and entirely unfamiliar aesthetics, landscapes & climate — and of course, cultural differences. The same, but different. I love Japan.
