Second ride in on my new bike, feels amazing but still dialing it in. Im new to top tier suspension with HSC, LSC, etc. it all feels good but from this video my friend took it looks like maybe I could use more HSC on the shock? Is video even a valid way to help dial in suspension or is it all feel?
Seeking advice from any suspension tuning wizards!

I’m gonna go with no dog.
Suspension is preference and also relative to terrain, conditions and riding style.
Start with factory settings and work out from there.
YouTube – Jordi Cortez is the Fox Factory Racing manager for rider support and has some YouTube vids from a few seasons back and they help to simplify where to start and where to go as you adjust incrementally to get “dialed in”
If you have some friends that rip they can probably advise you as well
Always start with dialing in Sag then for rebound and compression start with factory for your weight. Might not be exactly what you want but it’s the best place to start.
