Here’s full disclosure of the Frakensideon. I agree the red cranks and orange pedals are, well just weird. This nice subdued green scheme interrupted by an attack of gaudiness. It was literally the cheapest option. I’m on a budget. Even pitched the idea of promoting “cycling on the cheap “. I am conducting a bit of research. I’ve got about 1150 in this bike so far. And it really is smooth and fast. I’m taking a longer ride tomorrow. Frame bag.

The pedals I can get down with but yeah the red clashes a bit. I must say, those are interesting bottle cage location choices on their part.
What is the strap you use to hold the front wheel still?
