I swapped my rear rotors for 140mm. I had to remove the 160mm adapter for flat mount. When I started tightening, I only got to 5nm torque when I heard a cracking sound. Now it looks like the bolts are pressing way into the chainstay and there are pressure cracks all around. Am I screwed? What did I do wrong here? Shimano and Cervelo both say I could tighten up to 6nm – 8nm torque.

Are the washers contacting the frame flat on the underside? They look at a glance like the washers with the rounded cutout the Sram uses.
I’m swapping the rear SRAM 160mm to 140mm. I recall I needed different length bolts (bought a pair). Is that not the case here?
