East of Munich is the Chiemsee Lake. On a small isle called Herreninsel is the third castle built by Ludwig II: Herrenchiemsee. It is a small-scale replica of Versailles, well worth visiting. Thank you so much for this wonderful video. Greetings from Argentina.

We went to the Wieskirche and there was a wedding or some such going on with lots of people, so we didn't go inside. Now I wish we had. Also, if you're in that area, be sure to check out Oberammergau. That's where the play for the Passion of Our Lord is performed multiple times that specific year, every 10 years. Beautiful town and church there.
You're super lucky to be able to visit such a magical place.

Just a slight correction. It was Herrenchiemsee, which was modeled after Versailles, not Linderhof.

Been to most of these places but Not Lindau so incredibly beautiful…many one more visit to my homeland before I’m gone…I left the Beauty of the alps at the Tender age of 10 and ended up in the bottom lands or swamps of Georgia with the Alligator…every land has its own beauty but none as beautiful as BAVARIA ❤❤❤ THANK YOU FOR SHARING HOME WITH ME ONCE MORE…
