I go twice a year these days (I live 5 hours away). Once years ago there was a bear cub literally right at the side of the trail. Less than an arms length from me. It didn’t give a shit about me. It sees thousands of bikers every day. But I remember thinking “jesus christ I hope I can ride faster than a mama bear can run”

And everyone complains about trail dogs. Must be pretty awesome to see them just chilling, eating shoots and berries.

Yeah it does, I launched on to one of the bridges on Clown Shoes a couple weeks back and momma and her cub were on the end of it.
Momma was pissed at me. Lucky I was going slow, so I ran back up to Canadian Open and got outta there.
Its great getting the kiddos up there, they are gonna take you down Crank it Up lots and lots and lots.
