FX+1 One Year of Ownership

Here is my Trek FX+1 which I bought exactly one year ago. This was my first Trek product and my first e-bike.

I chose the Blackstar color which is matte black (very hard to keep clean and dust free). It looks fantastic when clean. I don’t regret this purchase at all it takes me around town in a smooth and comfortable manner and it has been reliable. I haven’t used it on the rain because it rarely rains where I live so I am not sure how this performs in rainy areas. Completely love how it handles and feels.

I did get the L size, I am 5’11 220 lbs so the bike is perfect for my size. It is a bit heavy to carry around even as someone that lifts regularly I find it hard to describe as small and light. It rides well though, and the weight is not an issue when riding, you can be flying without noticing. The light for night usage is ultra bright, the turn signals are positioned correctly and have never failed at all, brakes are powerful too.

The bike is durable, I took a really bad fall once and it handled it like a champ with no broken pieces or scratches despite the bike flying like 10 ft from me. Funny story but it’s cause my dog saw a cat and the leash got caught (Dog and I are okay).

But yea, not sure if this makes any sense I don’t really see threads on this model specifically so maybe I can be of help to some making a very big financial decision. I would rate it a 9/10 only cause I wish it was a lot lighter for me.
