New grips and making the rack level would really clean up the look of this bike!

Holy spacers, batman- I see this all the time on Surly bikes (including my own). I love my Ogre, but the Surly geo concept of low stack height is kinda crazy to me.
Great looking bike though!

surly decals are on top of the clear coat, so you can remove the “steal me” brand name

I don’t know what effect this would have on comfort for you, but in term of “graphic design”: I would move the lock back a bit for visual balance. It’s a bit close to the downtube
If it were my bike I would 3D print a sheath for the lock body to make it all black. I’d also scuff up the mudguards with Scotch-Brite to take them from glossy to matte.
It’s a really nice bike so all I have to offer are the dumbest small things lol
