Three day bikepacking trip through the Cheviot Hills that straddle the England/Scotland border. Lots of Type 2 fun due to the, um, variable weather.

Day 2: Wooler to Kielder https://www.strava.com/activities/10000158150

The northern part of the trip (Day 1 afternoon and Day 2 morning) is based on parts of the Sandstone Way. The map you will see me swearing at is available here: https://www.northern-heritage.co.uk/product/cycling/sandstone-way-northumberland-cycle-route-map

Great video as usual
Keep them coming
It's good to see you back Gareth. The Cheviot Hills is where I started my backpacking 'career' as a teenage hillwalker, and so they have a special place in my heart. I still regularly walk and cycle up there, I enjoy the peace and quiet that can be found there.
Great video and I always appreciate the accompanying history lesson ๐๐
Your video was recommended by youtube; good stuff, keep going!
1st video I've watched of you on your travels. I have walked the Cheviots for over 20 years and know how hard it is on wet days – pretty miserable.
I think you're nuts to do it on a bike ๐ but shall be subscribing and watching more of your videos ๐๐ป
Love the videos and really enjoy your mini history lessons. Fab stuff. As someone else said, being wet and knackered is standard Cheviots-ness ๐
Very good as usual! Do you have a GPX you can make available? Also what camera do you have – you mentioned a Go Pro but you seem to have different mounts, including a handlebar and chest mount is that right?
My home ground, back garden๐๐โค๏ธโค๏ธ๐๐ฌ๐งfantastic to see my haunts and that you enjoyed the ride, considering the rain๐ขStay safe and sound mate ๐
Very inspiring in some very grim weather – many thanks for sharing!
