These are the Chauvet cave paintings made by humans in Southern France about 35,000 years ago. There are hundreds of depictions of large animals that lived in the area at the time. This is a very important historical site that gives us a glimpse into our past.

  1. Usually the cave paintings are like stick figures… Whoever did this particular piece had some SKILL!!! Those paintings are exceptionally detailed… Which is pretty rare!
