We got bikes a couple weeks ago. I used to do quite a bit of biking in the past. We are both in pretty good shape (we met at the gym) so its only natural that we spend time together being active. She is a runner and had ran the trials in Des Moines a couple years ago. So we decided to take the weekend to go biking. I didn't expect the bike trails to be so extensive.

I love that you’re riding together. My wife and I love spending time with each other on our bikes. Biking is one of the main factors that led to our romance and 30 years later, we still ride together.
The high trestle trail is rad and I found it to be higher than pictures do justice! Looks like it was a fun weekend!
I could be wrong but I think Iowa has created the most former RR line to bike trails in the country.
The midwest vibes are OVERWHELMING.
