Experience the UCI Gravel World Series Gravel Adventure Poland 2026 from Hannes Riegger’s perspective! This elite race took place in Szklarska Poręba – Jakuszyce, Poland, featuring fast gravel sections, demanding climbs, and technical terrain.

Hannes felt strong throughout the opening phase of the race and repeatedly took turns at the front of the leading group. Based on how the race was unfolding, a Top 10 finish was definitely within reach.

Unfortunately, after around 90 minutes of racing, the first puncture occurred. The impact was severe enough that Hannes also lost his saddle bag containing all repair supplies. Despite losing valuable time during the repair and fighting his way back through the field, a second puncture eventually forced him to abandon the race (DNF).
