Kicking myself for not thinking this through beforehand, but any obvious workarounds or alternatives to safety pins for securing race numbers on the back of jerseys? My latest Rapha jersey is scarred for life!
On the bright side you now you have Bib number holes permanently and you can reuse them indefinitely.

Officials hate it but cumple up your number and pin your jersey with a pillow or something inside it so it’s pre stretched and the number has a bit of creases and folds to stretch slightly, you can also get someone to pin you as you have the jersey on, on the bike position with all you need in the pockets. TBH the more you race sooner or later you will get holes so just commit one to become the “holy” kit.

3M Spray 77 is what I use. Use VERY sparingly on the edges, not the jersey.
If you do get excess and trouble removing the glue, Goof-Off or Goo-Gone will roll it right off.
It gets the bib number to lie nice and flat, which is nice on 45+ mph descents.
