When i pedal with not much power, the bike is silent. However as soon as i put some watts down the bike (think from the bottom bracket?) makes a clicking sound each side i pass a certain point, where my power is transferred.
What should i do to fix this?
Why is my carbon frame making this sound

Remember, it’s never bottom bracket
Does it happen standing up? Kinda sounds like a seat post or saddle itself
Is it a press fit bb? The fix is to replace it with a thread-together bb.
In have similar noise, my bike barely has any miles. I’m hoping it’s the pedals.
I believe im getting a similar thing on mine
pedals, cranks, or bottom bracket. something ain’t right. disassemble, clean, inspect, regrease, and reassemble. The noise should come back, but now inexplicably appear in a different part of the bike. Repeat forever.
Well, it ain’t the bar/ stem.
It could be the headset.
Sounded like the same issue I had on my bike recently! Which side and area is it coming from? Mine was coming from the interface (a plastic bit) between the BB bearings and frame. I took the crank apart, greased it and the creak went away.
Possibilities:
* Bottom bracket (is it installed properly?, is it new or old and worn out?)
* Crankset (not installed properly? damaged?)
* Pedals (faulty? worn?)
* Chainring (are the chainring bolts tight?)
* Seatpost (voodoo magic)
The bikes age will play a role in this. Is it new or not? It might help if you can reproduce the sound when off the bike and just pressing the pedals down. Then you can try to determine where the sound is coming from. Once you know where the sound is coming from you can move forward from there.
Seatpost.
Is there a pandemic for bikes now? My hybrid started doing something like this a few weeks back, then stopped, then started up again, and is now pretty consistent when I’m pedaling hard. If I put it on a bike stand, I can’t make anything happen. Gonna try some of the suggestions here.
It is always the bottom bracket.
seat post for sure
Oiling the pedal threads worked for me
It’s either where the crank crosses something or the bottom bracket. The hollowness of the carbon frame is just amplifying the sound. Good thing is it’s amplified fry I f it to let you hear.
Thinking it could be your hips?
Don’t turn your levers in like that. It can cause issues with the shifting and you can break the lever body.
It could be the seatpost in the frame or the saddle clamp with the rails. Another could be the bottom bracket or bearings in the frame.
We’ve also seen/heard people who didn’t tighten the rear quick release or thru-axle fully and the wheel was creaking in the frame.
i don’t think the carbon is making the noise
