Is anyone else annoyed that the front rack could be a solid 3+ inches lower for better cargo capacity and lower center of gravity?

I bought one of these last summer off ebay, looking to replace my Clydesdale forked MTB, and it was a huge disappointment. Landfill quality parts front to back and I didn’t feel like raiding my parts stash to upgrade anything (though of course I don’t begrudge anyone who does!).
I’m still interested to see what everyone here does with their Petcares though. It’s a clever bike and we need more affordable cargo bikes on the market.

With some upgrades it might be a decent ride. Not even a quick release on the wheels is weird for a disc brake bike

I don’t like them because alignment is more difficult if you take the wheel off and then put it back in place. I’ve been spoiled by true axles lately
How does the kickstand feel with doggo in it? I bought this bike exclusively to ride with my dog haha so I want to make sure it’s safe for him. Taken your dog for a ride yet?
