Hello Canyoners.
I got a crazy idea to replace my RockShox Rudy on my Canyon Grizl CF SL 8 1by to a GVX with better travel distance.
The point is the upper headset bearing is 1/4” and the steerer Tube is 1/8”
Have anyone got a solution (Alternatives bearing or Spacer for such project?)
TL;DR: I switch to a different fork with smaller diameter steerer tube. But the bearing is too wide.

How old is the bearing? Have you any trouble? If Not? Why change it?
Those bearings are pressfit if I’m not mistaken. You cannot change them without the proper tools. I’d just take it to a shop and have them do it.
Why does this Headset bearing Shot Look like a add for some Vitamin Water?
So I come up with the idea: 1 1/8” Center-Compression Ring for ACROS IS44 (freakin 3D printed it)
