MK2 P Line: 10kg

All part stocks least the seat post, I had changed it to a titanium extended Seat post.

Was just curious those who purchase the same model, what’s your raw weigh of the p line. I saw on YouTube it was about 10.10kg.

For future modifications, to all the Brompton user. What are the potential modifications I could do to lighten the bike ?

Change the handlebars and put lightweight grips on. Those grips are big honking chunks of heavy rubber

I thought they where about 10.2kg so fair play, with that titanium seat post compared to the standard, scaffolding pole, your sitting pretty, you can save weight going chainring, bottom bracket pickung the T line as opposed to the square taper one, but think you might be chasing rainbows with 10 grams here and 15 grams there going forward.
£300 for the chainring and bottom bracket plus £30 facing the bottom bracket shell so could be paying £1.30 per gram

Weight savings can come from a variety of sources but lightweight crankset and bottom bracket, carbon bars, lighter saddle, grips, tyres etc… just be aware it’s diminishing gains and increasing cost at some point.
