I just picked this old Peugeot for free on my street. Can anyone shed some light of if it’s worth something?? Definitely needs some work doing to it to make it usable. Looks like a shed find. Thought it would be a good fixer upper to sell on, or keep it for myself! Any help would be appreciated!

Lower end bike from 1980-ish. Decent around town bike but not much monetary value
You can check the brochures for Peugeot here. That bike model is a P10 and is the paint/decal scheme from the 80’s.

A decent bike, especially for free. Not high end, but more than good enough as an around-town bike. Some of the rust looks a little concerning, you should have a look and make sure it’s not severe before investing time and money.
It’s a fancy name for hi-tensile steel. Built to take abuse by beginner cyclists and students. Heavy. Makes a perfect city/commuter, but not much else. Ride it and enjoy, but don’t sink a fortune in to refurbishing it.
