It’s time for another epic ride! This time Rich Payne is in Bielsko-Biala in Poland to check out the local riding. Last year was the first year for Downhill and 2025 was a new stop for Enduro on the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup circuit so we wanted to see what the mountain had to offer outside of the race tapes! – Is this the best riding destination you’ve never heard of?

  1. It's cool that you visited Poland but we do hate being called easter europe;)
Other than that there is a lot of cool places to ride here.
Both for MTB and touring cycling.
Poland is getting more focus on bikes for last few years so it's going good πŸ™‚

  2. Central Europe. Literally take Europe's extreme points, cross the lines and you end up either in Poland or south/east of if depending od your defninition and pick of extreme points.

  3. How did you not know about this when the DH world championship takes place there. Come your on Global Mountain Bike Network. I live there and the trials are sick! Happy riding

  4. Bielsko BiaΕ‚a is incredible, I try and visit each year!

If you guys want to try something different, try and come up to the north of the country to Tricity of Sopot, GdaΕ„sk and Gdynia. We've got some surprisingly good MTB trails that are located just a few minutes ride from the beautiful sandy beaches!

It's amazing to be shredding down top quality trails and be at the beach in a matter of minutes!

  5. From post/cold view yes eastern Europe – however geographically actually the exact centre of Europe(did you know Europe ends on Ural mountains in Russia?)

Poland πŸ‡΅πŸ‡± is exact #center although the Cold War naming somehow exists!

    Greetings from LondonπŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸ«’

  6. Don’t worry about Szyndzielnia πŸ˜…β€¦ and Poland is in the very center of Europe (where geometrical center is Suchowola)… it’s not Easter Europe (even less so geopolitically).. just saying 🀟

  7. You are Eastern Europe. Poland is CENTRAL EUROPE! But now more seriously (because the previous was simply serious). You should try also Czarna GΓ³ra resort – at winter nice ski resort, at summer there are lots of different bike trails. Also i highly reccomend smaller facility at Dzikowiec near WaΕ‚brzych – two courses, one simple one Free Ride and more difficult Downhill. And not mentioning tons of trails that are more than capable for nice cross country and some technical trails and freeride spots at the city of WaΕ‚brzych itself.

  8. My respect to cameraman Nick, riding hard with that much camera equipment on your back would make me nervous as heck. Just riding my normal bike with my one camera (for wildlife photography) makes me extra considerate of how I might land if something were to happen.

  9. Another one with lack of education- Eastern Europe lol. He haven’t seen Europe map in school? Probably another one who end up in primary.
