The Vitus built Peugeots were some of the best feeling bikes I've ever ridden in terms of comfort and power transfer, sucks it had a proprietary seatpost
Too bad it's hard to find seatposts for those bikes when you need a replacement. I needed a bigger one but my local bike shop said they're kinda specialized French sizes.
where is the best place to look or find the right size parts for old peugeot bike, i just got a frame but i dont wanna buy stuff that doesnt fit money is tight, any help would be appreciated

Riding one right now – an 88 Aneto. Fabulous machine and still going strong! Great to see you give this a new life.
Where did you get the smiley faces
Friction shifting would be perfect build

There was never a Peugeot bike originally made like that it was a racer
Un joli vélo vintage Peugeot 😊
Which handlebars??
Absolutly LOVELY
Nice work. How much of this was French threaded? Was the frame made in France, Taiwan, Japan, or Canada?
Very nice
Dang that's clean!

Looks great! I like that you kept the crank with 3 chainrings. Converting the rear to index was a good move, I believe.
What tool size for bottom bracket
>> Where can i get PEUGEOT letter decals for the frame ?
I wish you didn't skip removing the old bottom bracket.
