IRONMAN 70.3 Aix-en-Provence 2026 was one for the books.
Join me as I race through the stunning heart of Provence, France, at one of the most beautiful and challenging events on the IRONMAN 70.3 calendar. Set against the backdrop of rolling vineyards, historic villages, mountain roads and the iconic streets of Aix-en-Provence, this race delivered unforgettable scenery and world-class competition.
The day began with temperatures of just 8°C and a chilly lake swim that tested athletes before the race had truly begun. As the sun climbed higher over southern France, conditions transformed into a spectacular race day, helping produce incredible performances and record-breaking winning times.
This 15th edition of IRONMAN 70.3 Aix-en-Provence welcomed approximately 2,800 athletes from 58 nations, creating an electric atmosphere from the shores of Lac de Peyrolles to the famous finish line at La Rotonde in the centre of Aix.
