Unless Silca T Ratchet Rocket have changed their name this is a exact copy of something that's been around for years. (The "T" in the Silca kit stands for torque wrench as it has a brilliantly designed torque wrench up to 8Nm). They do make a ratchet rocket without the T, or torque wrench.
Yes, the Silca T Ratchet Rocket is a phenomenal piece of equipment. Strong, small, versatile and I've had one for several years now and it's done literally thousands of things both on the road and in the workshop.
I didn't see two parts in this presta tool that the Silca has. One is the torque wrench and the other is the ability for one side of the handle to come off giving even more versatility.
I'd be totally researching this presta tool before buying it as the Silca is made in America from cold forged steel.
Mine has lasted years and is still going strong and I'll recommend it any day.
Please research the presta before buying.
I gotta admit, looking at the footage again it just doesn't look as tho this presta has anywhere near the quality that the Silca T Ratchet Rocket has. Please be wary I say as I think this might be an inferior tool using the Silca's name. Remember the "T" in the Silca T Ratchet Rocket stands for torque wrench!
There's no torque wrench advertised here.
I may be wrong but I'm going to say, "Warning – Warning" on the presta tool.
Something just doesn't feel right.
I've never heard of a company called presta but I could be wrong.
