  1. I have crash bars on both my Sportsters . These bikes are heavy, even though they make it look easy on YouTube videos to pick up after you drop them, NOT !! It takes a lot of energy, and the crash bars will not only save you from really causing damage, but the bike won't go all the way down.

  2. My msf course i did the same thing but also pulled the throttle. Luckily they made us cover the clutch at all times. I twisted my back BUT i kept it under me and from falling. I hurt for a few weeks but valuable lesson learned.

  3. Just got my first bike this past Sunday at 19 years old. She’s a 94 Sporty XL1200. I had very little prior riding experience and have honestly struggled these past two days whether it was stalling, or finding the right amount of throttle to give it coming out of first gear. My bike has a big breather on it so using the rear brake will take some adjusting and getting used to. Was actually using my front brake coming into a turn, and found out the hard way, by laying my bike down, but watching this video along with your shifting video has given me more confidence for sure. Planning to get my permit to legally practice, then taking my state’s riding course the first weekend of May. Mr. Hardt, what tips would you give for a young man like me to ease the nerves and help get the fundamentals down?

  4. Ive been riding my whole life and i still do it, i just have a good track record with catching it. Im 27, so I'm about 13 years into riding daily, i own that shit

  5. First time on a motorcycle and no helmet.
"But it's only in the parking lot."
You see how the bike pulled him down head first, with both hands still on the bars? Funny they ended the video before the impact.

  6. I thought people were stupid "how can you drop it smh" pulled in the garage hopped off the bike let go of the clutch an boom dropped it 😂
