Obviously leaked it in purpose to ease the fans into it.
I'm all for leaving out under performing big-names. But leaving out the likes of Wharton and Hall is very strange. Not that it matters: England will go out on penalties in the quarter final regardless.
Quansah instead of Maguire Trent can come on for whipping in crosses Foden never seems to perform for England but all the no 10s just get in the way of Kane. We should drop the 10 have Bellingham as a no 8 and Rashford and Saka running behind Kane
Palmer wen fit is world class Is he better than Rogers I think so Gibbs White is unlucky Lewin over Tony all day Watkins sound Go 4-4-2 with a diamond Bellingham at the tip Watkins and Kane up front

If we're going with a 10 Palmer laid the pass on for Watkins against Holland Then scored a penalty in the final
The first England coach to pick players on form ahead of status since Bobby Robson and everyone goes mad. A couple of his selections are a bit puzzling to me but T T is a professional football coach I'm a scaffolder what do I know in comparison to him. I am genuinely gutted for Danny Welbeck though he's been incredible this season.
Foden and Palmer shit for England so I'm not bothered about that

Southgate got the easiest run ins in every tournament. It was almost eery how he got such an easy route. His subs were awful. He got thru by the skin of his teeth many times. First decent team we played beat us.

Phil Foden is NOT a number 10. Heโs played most of his career on the left or the right in a 3 behind the striker. This theory that heโs some kind of Dennis bergkamp in the hole player is a nonsense. Heโs very VERY left footed so when he plays on the right he naturally comes inside but when he plays on the left he still comes inside onto his right foot!!! At least Saka and madouke wil go to the by line every now and again.
