  1. Romania has two distinct "Dracula" castles: Bran Castle (the legendary, tourist-favorite castle that inspired Bram Stoker) and Poenari Castle (the ruined, authentic mountain fortress of the real-life Vlad the Impaler)

  2. As long as you are on asphalt and have bright clothes you are super safe, i ride on those roads and the majority of drivers are super carful with ciclists, especially the truck drivers.

  3. 3:54:01 jinny and the young bike hoodlums 😅. The only word I could make out was kurova or kurva which means bitch, when he looks into the camera. Otherwise it was mostly gibberish. 5:25:40 the one time Jinny listens to chet and she gets an underwhelming view 😂. On the plus side the Bolt driver who took her down also showed her a couple of hidden gems.

  4. After a trip like that, you really deserve a well-earned rest. Okay, since tomorrow you’re taking the DN 1 E60 to Bucharest. Just a quick heads-up. The Brașov–Bucharest road is rough and dangerous for cyclists—you’ll be surprised to find traffic jams, roadblocks, and other obstacles that could make cycling difficult. You can stop in Predeal, Bușteni, or Sinaia, whichever you prefer. In Bușteni, there’s Cantacuzino Castle, where the movie Wednesday was filmed. You can hike up to Babele and the Sphinx in the Bucegi Mountains, or even to the Red Cross on the mountain, dedicated to the Romanian heroes who died in the two world wars 🫡 “Honor to the Fatherland.” In Sinaia, there’s Peleș Castle, the royal train station with a steam locomotive in somewhat perfect condition, and Ana Pauker’s handcar. (She was, more or less, a well-known communist dissident in history.) I recommend two good hotels in Sinaia: Smart or Bucegi, and they’re not far from the center of my second home. Enjoy the rest of your trip. There’s a gas station near Ploiești called Etu where you can enjoy restaurant-style food in a modern setting and pick up snacks, toys, and souvenirs. It’s on the way to Bucharest. As I mentioned in the comment on the previous video, once you reach Sighișoara, the Ploiești-Bucharest A3 highway is off-limits to bicycles. So I recommend taking the DN 1 E60 toward Bucharest so you can enter the city and see the major attractions at the entrance, such as the Arch of Triumph, the People’s House/Palace of Parliament, and the Spring Villa of former communist dictator Nicolae Ceaușescu. And many others—by the way, Otopeni International Airport is also on that route, where you can catch a flight to South Korea or America, of course with layovers. I hope this information helps you plan your visit, especially since the summer season is approaching. Stop by Constanța on the Black Sea coast—there are plenty of tourist attractions, restaurants, and more. Well done once again, good luck, and have a nice rest after your trip.

😁 For someone who watched the Yesterday livestream

  5. Sorry for yelling "Hiiiiiiii, Jinny!" ( 4:05:00 ) from a car passing you by last night in Braşov and scaring you a little.

You are extremely tough! I hope the Romanian government will award you a medal in Bucharest.

    Thanks for visiting us!
