I was lucky enough to get my hands on this frame as a new old stock from the manufacturer (though without a fork), and I sourced the group from Ali for peanuts. Pretty happy with how it turned out, I feel quite privileged to have a brand new bike from 2012, thats super easy to build, maintain, performs fantastic thanks to the R7000, and has a unique look to it.

All in I think it cost me around 800 euros, and everything is brand new except the wheels and brakes. I honestly think people are sleeping on how good rim-brake performance can be with nice parts, cables and a good setup.

  1. All that seatpost and the erection stem make me think the bike’s too small for you, but if it works, send it.

800 euros for what is essentially a 250 euro bike is insane. Grey market groupsets generally don’t come with a warranty, and aluminium wheels at this price rim brake bike is not ideal. 800 euros for a rim brake bike these days should get you di2 and carbon wheels.

If you are happy with it then good for you, but this isn’t a budget built at all.
