5’9 and 32.5” inseam. Tested both M and L as I was on the cusp and went M. Got the bike yesterday and went for a ride yesterday and it was too aggressive for my back. I love everything about the bike, weight and speed, I really want to be more upright, a bit against the grain of what the bike is, I know.
What can I do to maximize uprightness here? I’m going to take it to the trek shop but it’s an hr away (in Europe) so I want to be prepared (plus there is a language difference).
I have read about a 17 degree stem. Adjustable stem. Riser bars (does trek make any, would these void any warranty?). Spacers? (Unsure if I have any room). What’s most realistic to ask the shop for—again since explaining to them may be tough with the language difference. I just want more Dutch cruiser posture on a lightweight bike.

Flipping the steem is the first step.
