I've been on one ride with it after checking the tires and bolts, and noticed that the drivetrain was significantly louder than my old bicycle with a conventional drivetrain. It's not having any trouble pedaling or shifting, but without having used Brompton's wacky arrangement, I can't tell if this is something I need to do anything about. Thanks for any help.
New owner (C-Line 12-speed). Is it normal for the drivetrain to be this noisy?

That’s the beautiful sound of a healthy Brompton
Yeah, it’s not so bad
Nope, expensive stuffs sound like that. Enjoy your rides.
Sounds fine to me. If anything it’s not loud enough!
My 12sp C line sounds about the same. Brommie seems just little more yappy and I am starting to like it
sounds good
Sounds like a Brompton they’ sound like an old ringing lots of clicks and clacks.
As everyone else has said, it’s fine, that’s how they sound.
Great healthy sound, don’t worry
