Took my Fairlight Faran 3.0 on a quick 130km point to point from Basel to Neuchatel through the start of the Jura Mountains. 1.6k in elevation each day. Was meant to be a four day trip to Geneva but the heat was so intense that I cut it short. Wish I had added a smaller chainring as I had to push the bike on anything over 20% incline.

Gearlist:
Frame – Fairlight Faran 3.0
Rear Rack – Restrap Switch Rack
Dry Bags – 13L Sea To Summit Big River on the Rear and 2x 5L on the front forks
Frame Bag – Custom rogue panda made for my old Kona Rove that I drilled new holes into to fit the Faran
Top Tube Bag – Restrap Race Top Tube Bag Long
Rack – Nitto M18
Handle Bar Bag – Wizardworks Bad Jelly Medium

Beautiful area, looks like a nice weekend.

Curious what made you go with the Restrap Switch rack over a regular rack like a Tubus Vega? The Faran has the mounts for a regular rack, so I’m not sure I see the benefit of the Restrap here.
