Looking super nice there, and nice back drop. Stealing someone’s idea from a post yesterday, you can buy a frame that mounts on the front and then strap your backpack to that, it’s what I’m gonna do, went on aliexpress yesterday and picked a frame with straps.

  2. Totally random, but what’s the building in the background? It looks 100% like the power plants form Command&Conquer Red Alert.

Congrats on your bike! I’ve bought a large front bag because I don’t like backpacks. I went for the large rolltop by Brompton. Most days it’s too big, but the storage space is useful for larger grocery trips. I’m thinking about buying a second (smaller) bag.

Nice. You have 56 and 76 gear inches. Good for London, though if you venture into areas like Wimbledon you’d probably better dropping that to 50 on the low end, if the derailleur can handle a bigger cog. Or get a smaller chainring and drop down to say 50 and 70.

1300 pounds though new. You’d have to really need a Brompton to accept that.

  4. Hey, I also have a black 2 speed here in Paris, and also love it! Wonderful simplicity, coming from a single-speed background it’s a joy.

I don’t use a front bag either for commuting (to keep it nimble, exactly), but a basket bag or a rack (eg Fahrer XL rack or [this one](https://fr.aliexpress.com/item/1005009715790378.html?spm=a2g0o.cart.0.0.1889378d5XRtqT&mp=1&pdp_npi=6%40dis%21EUR%21EUR+74.08%21EUR+31.59%21%21EUR+31.59%21%21%21%400b884c0217798788407221043e0fd4%2112000049939565391%21ct%21FR%21-1%21%211%210%21&gatewayAdapt=glo2fra)) can be useful to carry stuff once in a while – and as explained below, you can put your backpack on the rack.

Things you can add to improve the ride: grips (ESI for example, to reduce vibrations), SQlabs Innerbarends (to be able to change position), Crane e-ne bell, better tyres (Continental Urban), better saddle (your choice), MKS Ezy Superior pedals (I recommend Allways, so comfortable), Joseph Kuosac hard suspension block, easy-wheels and better mudguard wheel (a 2-speed can be balanced to roll perfectly well without a rear rack, because the front wheel can turn freely).

  5. It looks like it’s a Brompton Electric frame that has been converted to non electric

Off topic, but remember when Battersea Power Station was used as the site of a factory that was blown up in The Dark Knight?
