๐ด Great Western Greenway & Achill Island | 90-Mile Ride Through Ireland’s Wild West ๐๐ฎ๐ช
Hop on the bike and join me for an unforgettable journey through one of Ireland’s most breathtaking and culturally rich regions. This 90-mile ride starts in the vibrant town of Westport and follows the full length of the Great Western Greenwayโa 28-mile, car-free path that traces a former railway line all the way to Achill Island, the largest island in Ireland.
From there, we explore both the northern and southern loops of Achill, uncovering a world of rugged coastline, historic ruins, scenic beaches, traditional Gaelic culture, and echoes of Irelandโs pre-famine rural life.
