This item appeared on the Facebook Marketplace yesterday for $100, and it was 100% legitimate. I was the first to message the seller 7 minutes after the listing went live. I expressed my interest, but I’m 75 miles away and could potentially be there tomorrow. The seller informed me that the items were sold on a first-come, first-served basis. I inquired if I could pay using Zelle and pick them up tomorrow. The seller agreed to my request.

He insisted that I check the item over FaceTime before making a commitment. I obliged, viewed the item, and obtained the serial number. It’s genuine.

I show up, and he also tossed in a goodie bag, which there were a few photos of as well. He included the helmet, a pair of shoes, and a Garmin 530 GPS unit. 🤯

He was the original owner who was simply clearing out his garage and him and the wife lost interest, good people who lived in the country and have moved on to motorcycles and a can am trike.

I need to fix the rear derailleur down shifter, weathered bar tape, and a squeaky front axel… that’s it.

    Good find.
Pay to get it professionally serviced. And toss the helmet. You don’t know how old it is (likely 2019 as well) so it’s past its age, and could have been dropped a few times.
