I changed the Brompton brake levers out with levers I had laying around, they are easier to reposition, unlike the brompton levers were I had to loosen the cable to access the bolt. I also switched the cables so left brakes the front wheel, like the rest of my bikes.

Nice!
Do Bromptons usually have the brakes connected backwards?
I have done this several times over the years.
I’m sure I could get used to it pretty quickly, but as I also ride motorbikes (which are never switched and always follow the uk standard, front brake on the right), I’m concerned about reversion-to-type in an emergency.
Most people are righthanded, so the brake that needs the *most careful modulation* (the front one) is best placed under the right hand.
This is equally true whatever side of the road you ride/drive on. Moreover, I think having “one or other hand free for signaling” is a spurious argument, and I don’t buy it.
