I really liked the idea behind Canyon’s Gear Groove system (which I own), but I always felt it was too restrictive when it came to fit and aerobar choice. So I started building a more modular setup around it.

The goal was pretty simple: keep the clean integrated look, but allow proper stack adjustment and the freedom to run different aerobars and arm cup setups.

Honestly, this is what I wanted Gear Groove to be from the beginning. Curious what other Canyon owners think — did anyone else feel Gear Groove was too restrictive?

Yeah I sunk an extra 150 in an angled spacer, to not lay full flat out front. The whole system is quite expensive

  2. This system should be a standard, I like it very much and other manufacturers should also make this type of mount

  3. What parts did you buy and how did you set it up? Also interested in this for my new Endurace CF SLX I ordered. Was planning on getting the Gear Groove extensions but this looks so much better.

How many centimeters are the spacers together?

I just bought myself another 40mm spacer from America. I’m really curious to see how it feels when they arrive.
