I recently traveled to Belgium to check out a unique piece of architecture called Fietsen Door het Water, located in the provincial park and open air museum of Bokrijk. This is a very unique bike path which is essentially sunken through a pond allowing you to cycle ‘through’ the pond and see the water up close at eye level on either side. Check it out!

It seems Mozes was here.
Looks lovely, thanks for showing us! 👍🌷
There is also a 'cycling through the tree tops', an elevated path for a different look at the forest.
I'd say it's more of a reversed gutter, meant for having the water around it rather than through it. But "semi-tunnel" like you said fits also. Seems to me like this would only be passable in very calm weather, otherwise the lake would be spilling into it making it an un-reversed gutter and kind of dicey to ride. Were the paths around this all dirt? Could you make it with regular road bike tires, assuming there wasn't a huge stretch of it?
