The track was awful, so it's not a surprise… Remember few years ago, there was a some slalom race in Austria(Saalbach) with the same conditions – hot weather and melted snow, where in the second run even Marcel Hirscher skated last, lost 2 seconds, but still won.
Let’s be honest, it was the conditions. But if he was #15 in the first run, he would have ended nowhere near the podium. That does not diminish his value as one of the best slalom racers out there.
Imo the second best comeback in history. The best one was not in slalom but in the combined. It was, however, in the slalom run of that race. Similarly, from 30th to 1st. Winning for 0.01 second only, 2nd was none less than Marcel Hirscher himself. That tops everything, doesn't it? Especially considering it was not a world cup, even better: the world championship, Sankt Mauritz, 2017
I remember the conditions were really warm, the track was degrading quickly. The higher skiers were basically skiing on slush. Great performance though

Buena bajada, con un ritmo fluido y suave que parece un baile. Bravo!!!

Great run by Yule but the conditions had a major impact on the result!
Nah.. Janica Kostelic skiing without a glove and stick and still taking the lead is forever my personal favorite race of all time!
forgot to tell of course that he was already up with the best in 1st run until 1 failure
The best comeback slalom was made by Alberto Tomba. Alberto tomba at this guy give 20 minutes 😂

I dunno, he looked like he kept em pretty parallel to me.
That’s a true trooper
One word "Stenmark"
My record – from 140 to 20 on USSR nationals )
"He". Eh?
If he was 30th He got to start on a clean new course so that didn't hurt! But still nice skiing.

Look up some of the second runs of Alberto Tomba 'La Bomba'
Conditions changed rapidly that day, making the course much slower for the final racers. Still, he took full advantage of the situation.

marcel hircher's super combined comback from having the first run in the slalom part to win is also up there
Did everyone else fall or catch a ski in a gate?
Lucas brathen es mucho mejor
Billy major ❤❤🔥🔥🔥🔥
BEAST💪💪🔥🔥
to be fair, the course is much less rutted for 30th than 1st..
Epic win!
He looks parallel to me for the whole run. 🤣
Saw a squirrel
Nice job
I was there
Razzoli the best one ever in slalom
One of the best sports ⛷️⛷️⛷️❤
He record me of Ivica Kostelic, congrats Daniel 🎉❤
I am a skier and that happens to me a lot of times
What Norwegians do on a daily basis:
He Certainly did NOT fight.
Learn the discipline (or ANY discipline) sufficiently to develop what precise feels like
So this is un-parallel slalom?
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Unparalleled run, that is why we only get a tenth of it.
