This was an absolute beautiful day for a ride. So I cycled a 50mile loop from Exeter to Dunkeswell Airfield. Along the way, I traveled through some picturesque villages and busy towns on main roads and country lanes.
There was a multi vehicle crash on the M5, so it was shut for the air ambulance to land. All the motorway traffic was diverted onto the side roads that clogged up the road network throughout the county. When I reached the airfield, I pay tribute to the two skydivers that recently lost their lives in a freak accident.
My observations are the subject of this ride. So come along and enjoy another great cycling adventure.

That's a tragic sky diving accident. π’
Thanks for doing another ride out Harvey, it's great to see the English countryside it's the only way i do get to see it and i miss it so much, i ride in Spain now for the last five years and very little country lanes in the south, cycling in the summer here ? forget it unless you go out about 5 or 6 a.m. the reason I'm here is family commitments put it like that, anyway sorry to know about that tragic parachute jump thats terrible, thanks for sharing another of your great bike riding adventures, take care πππ
Looked like a great ride out mate. I didn't realise you had a grown up daughter. My eldest girl is now 24 years old.
The M5 this summer has been shocking with the amount of accidents. One good reason for me not to be on the road. Baffles me how it can get so badπ Nice ride as usual Harvππ
Great ride Harvey very busy but the bike always keep on going.stay safe mate ππ΄π¨
I must admit, I do like to occasionally pop in to a village church as Iβm riding through. Even better if the doors arenβt locked π
He was weaving probably to avoid the cyclists/walkers behind him and/or avoiding scratching van fron bushes/trees. The man in green did right to tell the car to ease up….
