Pedestrians don’t notice because you’re going too fast. Drivers don’t notice because they’re going too fast.

Other cyclists don’t notice because they’re focused on the road and the pain. Unless you’re Sir Paul Smith, we all look goofy on the bike. Embrace it 🙂

I’m just gonna say it: he’s right, he does look like a buffoon. If he’s got enough self awareness to make that assessment, no amount of “he looks fine, just ride!” or “no one notices you anyways” is gonna change that. So, let him know that he’s right. Then let him know that only way to change that is to get over it and ride his way back into shape. Rome wasn’t built in a day.

  3. The only reason why this is not a good idea, is that the double fabric will likely cause a lot of sweating and chafing. I’d lose one of the two bottoms

I’m glad he’s recovering well and he’s doing things for his hormonal balance and mental health. Postpartum dads need all the support they can get.
Tell him he looks beautiful in your eyes, no matter what.

idk man they look like shorts to me. ain’t nobody gonna notice whatever he’s lookin at when he’s on a bike regardless.

  6. He looks absolutely fine, wtf is wrong with people saying otherwise? Go riding bruh 🫶

  7. My suggestion is that he’s probably feeling insecure, find a way to acknowledge his feelings but also let him know that he looks fine. He’s got this. No one gives two shits, except people who are themselves insecure.

All cyclists look bad. No way around it.

Cycling gear: functional but looks silly to non cyclists
Non cycling gear: looks silly to cyclists

    Just get over it

Bro, just ride the bike. Nobody cares what you look like in your shorts especially other cyclists. Will just acknowledge your presence on the road or on the trails.
