yep perfectly fine, this looks like a pivot mach4, i have done this before as a temp thing on customers bikes untill later when they wanted full service and new cables. I then instill foam tubing over the cable housings and brake line, this should been done on shop build though as pivots come frames only and parts in a box. other than BB and rear brake they are 100% build up for shops, brake line should already have foam tubing and there should been more in box of parts for the shop to use on build. Another thing you can do on later service is use a little shrink warp around the part of housing entering the frame door.
