I purchased this trek 7300 for $20. I didn’t test ride before buying it but I have it now and it’s smooth and all but the seat is so high. I’m 6’, equally legs and torso and it’s a 51cm bike. The inner shaft just springs up and down. Is there a way to make this even lower? I just wish I could take the spring out so the inner shaft goes in a little deeper.

Buy a $20 non suspended post. That post cannot go lower. If you are 6′ on a 51cm bike, I doubt its too low.
That’s as low as it goes, if you need it lower replace it with a regular seatpost.
But there’s no way a 6’ tall person needs the seat slammed down on a 51cm bike. 51cm should be way too small for you, maybe it’s a 61cm? Either way the bike doesn’t fit you, you should never need the seat that low on a frame that fits you.
How bent are your legs at the bottom of the pedal stroke? Because they should be almost straight. But if you’re 6′ on a 51cm bike, I can’t imagine your legs being more than half extended. Your legs will work far better if you raise your seat to where it needs to be. Your legs won’t get so sore either.
6” tall on size 51 bike
That size is for people like 5”4
