    Looks like a good classic touring bike for mostly road! I would try the geometry of the frame in person if possible. For the Price I would say it’s a great bike! Any plans for add ons of some kind?

    Looks like it’s built and set up very similarly to my Miyata 610. Lugged frame, canti brakes, triple chain ring and downtube shifters – can’t go wrong man, steel is real.

    Couple of notes: If they’re 27×1-¼ tires, you’ll have limited options on tire selection. 700c rims will still be limited by width. Other than that, I say snag it with prejudice if it fits you well and it’s in good shape, you’re stealing it at $100.

    My Miyata is my favorite bike. I love to tinker with it the most, I’ve ridden it across my state and plan to use it for the GAP/C&O soon, and I wouldn’t hesitate to hop on it and ride across the whole country tomorrow if I had the financial means to.

    No bike is a good deal if it doesn’t fit, so do as much as you can to check.

    Hi;

    This is very similar to the model I have used for traveling the last few years. Definitely reliable and sturdy enough for touring.

    If it fits, it is a steal.

    There are just some minor gripes I have with it:

    – it has its limits when it comes to tire size, with these fenders attached I can go as wide as 37-622 max. which is enough for all roads and paths mostly. Only loose gravel can be an issue when cycling uphill but I did survive going downhill on Reschenpass with this bike fully loaded

    – brakes, I wanna go discs but if you are familiar with cantis, you will be fine

    – the geometry is perfect for a Randonneur build

    Buy it!
