a while ago i cycled from Amsterdam to Castricum ( near the ocean ), and they have this pretty steep and impressive hill that seperates the town from the sea.
There's a very nice viewing point at the top!

That railing actually adds safety if you slip, didn't see many handholds or rock cliff to lean against. At least that's a consideration of mine when I hike in the mountains adventurously but while still being a scaredy cat
If you live close to that mountain, you might accidentally go for a small stroll and end up in front of the European Netherlands highest buttpl… I mean point. You can also skip some of the cycling, if you take the RE train to Aachen and just walk from there, but this Youtube seems to be quite fond of cycling.

On the factual side – even though Sint-Maarten officially has its own currency, their also use USD as their main current (in the 5 days I spent there, I never came across a guilder and had to search hard to get one for my collection)

I did a scuba excursion between Kitts and Sint Maarten and we circled Saba, the reef features around rhe island are dazzling. Also, Saba was the inspiration for Skull Island in the original "King Kong."

Hope you are coming to Hong Kong. We have lots of different forms of transport. Unfortunately there isn’t a single day pass that covers trains and buses, but you could always use an Octopus card for easy payment.
