We used to do these in Torontondurinf the late 90’s
I've participated in a few in Warsaw between 2006 and 2010. One had same formula as here. For 2h you were riding from one point to another based on your rolls on points. You were "delivering" from one to another, so every second checkpoint you were rolling for your points for delivered package. sum of points was your ranking. You had to have luck to win this but afterparty was cool. I had my trusty fixie and was riding with my best buddy in pair.

A points based race and alleycat are 2 different things
I've had the pleasure to race in many and help out in few cats. It's the best thing but hard to explain to outsiders.

on the one hand id love to… on the other id probably get my self killed :S
Im gonna join my first alleycat in 2 weeks but its mostly just for fun rather than competing so i wont really try to go too crazy around traffic
